There a two types of diabetes. Type I and Type II, Type 1 is called insulin-dependent or juvenile diabetes. Type II is is non-insulin dependent diabetes. Symptoms of type 1 diabetes include irritability, frequent urination, abnormal thirst, nausea or vomiting, weakness, fatigue, weight loss despite normal (or even increased) intake of food, and unusual hunger. In children frequent bed-wetting especially by a child who did not previously wet the bed. People with Type 1 are subject to episodes in which blood glucose levels are very high (hypoglycemia). Type II is often referred to as maturity-onset diabetes. In this type of the disorder the pancreas does produce insulin, but the insulin is ineffective. Symptoms: blurred vision, itching, unusual thirst, drowsiness, fatigue, skin infections, slow wound healing, and tingling or numbness of the feet.

Dose: If using tea bags use one bag per cup of water, you can use tea bag twice if you want to. Use 1-2 teaspoons of bulk herbal tea to a cup of water. Place in microwave or on stove in a glass container if in microwave, if on stove place in stainless steel or glass container and heat for 3 minutes and then strain into container. You can use a strainer or use a paper towel. I personally like a strainer because you can also catch the sediments of the herbs and also ingest them. Steep for 4-5 minutes and enjoy. You can usually use the tea ingredients again for the evening tea. Never let it sit over 10 minutes because it will become bitter. My herbal tea contains all natural ingredients, no caffeine, no preservatives, and not artificial coloring.
