Shingles Herbal Tea
Singles is a form of chicken pox that has been laying dormant within  your spinal cord and has not manifested itself on your skin. It is a virus, there is no known cure for shingles but it has been known that some herbs do help this disease.  As many as 1,000,000 people have be affected by shingles.  Usually most people that get this virus are over the age of fifty but it can attack anyone at any age.  Most of the time they will disappear in a few weeks. If you have a weakened immune system then it becomes quite worse.  I am a firm believer that if you have a strong immune system then germs cannot invade your system very easy.  The herbs that I recommend are below:

Cautions: Dandelion:  Should not be combined with diuretic drugs, Not recommended for people with gallstones, Burdock Interfers with iron absorption, Green Tea:  don't use cream with it, contains a small of caffeine, Should not be used in large quantities by nursing mothers, Persons with anxiety attacks should limit themselves to 2 cups a day.  St John's wort:  Large amounts can cause sun absorption, Should not be used  by people who take prescription antidepressants, medication that interacts with MAO inhibitors, should limit use if pregnant.

Herbs:  Alfalfa:  Promotes healing, helps to restore the body's natural acid/alkaline balance.
Dandelion:  Helps to detoxify the body and support the liver. Burdock and Red Clover both have properties in them to cleanse the bloodstream and lymph nodes.  Cayenne (capsicum) relieves pain and helps to heal.
Green Tea: Antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, land has been said it fights herpes/viruses. Milk Thistle Seed:  Best for cleaning liver and helps restore liver cells.  Oat Straw, St John's wort,Skullcap
reduces stress and itching. Valerian: Helps calm the nerves and  helps you rest.  DMSO: I  have known many people that used this product and they seem to think that it helps dry up the Shingles.

Directions:  Place a one teaspoon of herbs into a glass container and fill with water, place in microwave and let heat for 3 minutes, strain through strainer or paper towel, I personally like using a strainer because you get the small sediments that have a lot of medicinal properties. Garnish with honey or whatever you want. Enjoy
